UAE Pass and Emirates ID scam messages: what to check before you respond
If a message asks for your UAE Pass credentials, Emirates ID details, OTP, app approval, or a link to "verify" your identity, stop.
Open UAE Pass or the official service yourself. Do not use the message link.

Why this feels real in the UAE
UAE residents use UAE Pass and Emirates ID for real services. Banks, government portals, telecom accounts, visas, fines, and residency tasks can all feel connected to identity.
That makes the scam language powerful.
